I tried recording it.. I have a fairly fast connected which almost doesn't budge out while streaming.. I just connected and recorded it in halfs with COOL EDIT PRO.. Only sick thing is.. My soundcard makes just TOO MUCH NOISE!!! This weird buzz is constantly there...

I DID however get GREAT sound from the music itself.. After editing it a bit.. Drums are pretty clear and so are the stereo channels. But I guess I have to record it with that thingie so maybe I'll get good sound for my stuff... I'll try thanks..

I'm Dutch.. Planet.nl is aswell... It says nothing special about Joe at, just a little biography. Birth date, inspiration, from guitar teacher to guitar hero and most innovative guitarist of the 90s bla bla bla..

Not much you don't already know trust me...

Using ASF Recorder I managed to download the entire 702 MB file without a problem.

One question: how do I get it to playback? The regular Win Media Player loads it up but just stops whenever I hit play...

Really easy... in fact, I was incredibly surprised at how easy it was.

Put the mouse cursor over the ADSL or Modem link that starts the stream and right-click. Then copy the shortcut. When you open ASFRecorder, paste the shortcut into the box that asks for the stream. And save it. Easy as that.

Now can anyone tell me how to convert it to a DivX? I tried VirtualDub 1.3c, the version before MSoft asked them to remove ASF support, and it couldn't open it for some reason...

Crazy, when I do that, I guess the Recorder only downloads the planet.nl commercial, and it even stops at 93%.

I right clicked ADSL, went to properties and copied the URL over there into the Open URL function of ASFRecorder. Then I gave what I want to save a name. After that it's starts streaming and I cheared, it stopped at 93% (and that only took a few seconds).

What the hell is going on?!

*looks at his ASFRecorded with an ugly face*
*notices the programme wants him to save another file from the stream*

Hey... I guess this is the REAL file he wants me to save, I'M ACTUALLY DOING IT! I'M RIPPING THE MO'FO!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! *cries*

Now let's hope it works, if it does... I'll somehow record the SOUND ONLY and optimize the sound I get (this time without soundcard buzz) and make a live double CD out of it.
