Js with lo-pro or edge pro

I am looking at buying a js1000 and am wondering if I should get a 2002 or 2003. Any thoughts?

Common sense would say either get the one that feels best to you, or get whichever one you are able to get the best price on

I agree with him. If your debating on the trem I've heard that there isn't much difference in feel. So pretty much whatever you can get your hands on.

I have the 2003 JS1000 and I like the trem just fine. I haven`t tried any other years so I can`t compare, but like I said, it`s a fine trem.

I have several......2 js90th's and #18 chromeboy and one of the js90th's has the low pro. After I play any of those guitars for 5 or ten minutes I don't notice too much difference. The low pro does feel nicer when I first pick it up but I adapt to either one.....I think the edge sounds a little fatter but I tend to use the low-pro js90th for most sessions. It was set up by Rich and is the only guitar I have ever owned that I have never tweaked......

No doubt it needs some tweaking cause a setup is only good for a few weeks

My preference goes to the lo pro. But, choosing one guitar must be reduced to the edge aspect. You may some but significant change as to the neck. My view is that it's a whole neck feel+body feel+sound. Other things are just secondary.
