Me, too. I have a pearly and a JS to put it in, but haven't gotten around to it ;-)

I recently picked up a cherry JS body, and am toying with idea of putting pearly gates in it. If I do I'll be sure to share on how they sound!

I have a JS100 which I replaced the original stock Ibanez "suck" pickups for a Pearly Gates on the neck and a TB6 on the bridge.

Sounds amazing now ! Really, the Pearly Gates is a wondeful pickup to use on the neck position on a JS guitar. Warm, harmonics, full ... cool

Go for it ! For me it sounds better than the PAF Pro, but that's my opinion ...

how is the Pearly Gates in the bridge position? must be really different from FRED i guess...

i've played quite a few SD humbuckers but have not tried the Pearly Gates before, the Jazz was not bad but a tad too bassy for my taste but the JB is a very nice pickup for the bridge!
