JS100 Bridge Problems
Alright, now I'm sure you've had this question before, but I'm having some problems with the LO TRS II bridge in my JS100. I'm looking for a replacement as soon as possible and I want to know what my options are. I don't really want to rout the cavity of the guitar, and I also want to get a quality bridge. My first option is the Original Floyd, but I'm not sure that it will fit. I've also looked at the Shaller's floyd which matches up to most of the design specs of the LO TRS II. I'm totally stumped on this one and I just need some help.

Re: JS100 Bridge Problems
As far as I've heard reagarding the JS100, either one of those two tremolo units should fit on that guitar without any routing.

Re: JS100 Bridge Problems
I just installed an OFR this last week in a JS100 and it fits perfectly. The OFR stays in tune better than the Lo TRS II as well. Other trems will require some routing I believe. It's all personal preference really.

Re: JS100 Bridge Problems
Thanks for the help guys... I've already dealt with the pickup situation (EVO2 bridge and
Air Norton neck
) so this is the next step. How do you think the original floyd will look on a JS though?

Do a search on the forum. Somebody posted a pic of a JS with an OFR a while back.

JS prefers Edge and FR styles, so it should look pretty good - not much different than a JS with an original Edge, and you can check the used section of Ibanezrules.com for some JS1's with Edge bridges.

Re: JS100 Bridge Problems
The OFR looks a bit smaller than the Edge IMO but, I would definitely like to see a pic with the OFR outfitted into the JS100.

I tried a few times and can't find it or the pic no longer there.
I hate to say this but can you at least post the link if you can
find it and don't always just tell people to use the search cause
is annoying. Some links might become invalid or expired if it is an
every old post.
