That's a giant leap inbetween those two guitars. If you could afford the chromeboy, go ahead and get that.

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

I have a feeling he may very well be getting confused with the JS1000...

in which case, get the JS1000. Paint doesn't peel off after five minutes of exposure to atmosphere. Crap chrome finishes on the other hand are another matter...

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

If you really meant JS100, then get that and forget about the Chromeboy, because you can't afford it if you could find one. If you meant JS1000, you are a little closer. Get the JS1000 and you'll have something to really play ... instead of something to hang on the wall and look pretty.

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

I like the JS100- it's just a funnerest guitar you know? the Chrome one gets all yucky with fingerprints and stuff- give me a nice red JS100 any day! Anywya, that hairy guy Joe Satreyaney always plays the chrome one and who wants to be like him? All those notes and stuff- NO THANKS! Be different- get the crappy one!

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

The chromeboy is the most beautiful guitar u can get imo! Nobody can resist such a gem! It plays like butter and sounds just beautiful!!! But you're paying for it's appearance, it has the same specs as a JS1000, doesnt it?

Agreed. Although I like the 90th then the JS-1 WH. The Chromeboy and the 1200 are sweet.
In the '98 Ibanez catalog, The chromeboy is pictured and I always thought that was and still to this day the nicest photo of the guitar ever.

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

Wow! Nice pic!
I just love the way the guitar is posed in the 1998 catalog.
It's angled and has that weird background (not the one thats pictured in front of Satch playing it).
That is a nice pic! Thanks.
Oh, I will join the forum.

Re: JS100 or JS10 Chromeboy

indeed, the catalog pic is also very good. But it's VERY hard to make a decent pic of that guitar, I've tried it a few times, but couldn't get satisfying results
