JS100 problem, please help

Hi there

I own a JS100, I know it's the lower-end model but I wanna ask if these are noraml:

1. Scratches were found when the paper box is newly opened
2. There are clear wood veins on the body, I know it will happen on transparent red ones but mine one is in black
3. The tremolo cannot set at a certain position

It's my first guiat and cost me almost $7000 but so many problems...
Please help, thanks a lot!!!

I hope $7000 is a typo.

If you have quality control issues right out of the box, i would return it to where you bought it and have them give you another.

send it back... scratches are inacceptable...
the trem probably needs setup?

btw: better start off with a cheap guitar and save the bucks for the real thing - the js1000... it's SO much better!

Sorry, that's $700

So I'm feeling regret about having it as I've broswed so many bad-commended posts in the site...

For the scratches, I've no way to return. I bought it, they gave me one that couldn't set the bright lower; the second one, the fingerboard is not right. This is my third one I changed and they've no stock anymore, what can I do, I'm a dope >.<

Any comment about the clear wood veins?

I'd take it back and get my money back, personally.

If i'd received three of the same model and each of them had flaws, i'd go shopping for something else.

$700 for a korean JS100 w/ inferior locking trem is highway robbery (regardless of where you are located).

return it and buy a MIJ ibanez or used JS (made in japan)... glen

Don`t be to hard on yourself I made that same mistake(paid about the same price too). Now go return it, and tell whoever it is who sold it to you they need to remove there head from there *beep*! Save up a hundred more, and you can easily get a JS1000 used
