JS1000 Body work question

I just picked up a used JS1000 for a great deal. During shipment, the allen wrenches managed to make a ton of dings and scratches all around the top edge of the body. Some are significant dents, others are just scratches in the clear coat. Fortunately it's the black pearl finish so the imperfections are well hidden. Can the clearcoat scratches be buffed out reasonably well? If so, any ideas on how much it would cost? If it's outrageous, I may just leave it as is. It plays fantastic, but the cosmetic issue is bugging me a bit. Thanks for any suggestions!

Rich gets the big stuffed animal at the prize booth. My first experience w/ an M100C case. Not only the bar, btw, but about 3 other allen wrenches and a small phillips-head screw. I'm not very thrilled. Fortunately the guitar plays like a dream, but I hope I can get some of the imperfections repaired.

minor scratches and pick marks can be buffed out with no problem.

Took it to my local tech. It should be finished up either later today or sometime tomorrow. Tonally, it sounds very good. I don't know why I waited to get a JS model for so long. It feels and sounds better than the last 5 or 6 guitars I've had. Quick question: anybody that owns or has played the new JS1200 can you compare the old Paf PRO versus the PAF Joe?
