JS1000 BTB - 22nd fret inlay??

Hi there, I just saw a JS1000 which had an inlay saying 'JS custom' on the 22nd fret, kinda like the 'custom made' inlay on the S540LTD.
The owner told me the guitar is 100% original and the neck has not been replaced. My first guess was that the guitar has a replacement neck taken off a JS100, but the inlays on these say 'JOE SATRIANI', not 'JS Custom', don't they??

So, has anyone seen other JS1000 guitars with that inlay??

I think those were made in the mid 90's? They had the JS-Custom inlay in them.

AH! They were a TB, not a BTB

Thanks for the fast replies guys! I only looked in the '97 catalogues, since the guitar had an F97 serial number.

Eddie: Now that you mention it, the guitar could indeed be a TB, not a BTB. Hmm I'll have to look again.

The TB was only made in 94' [the year the inlay plaques started on the 1000, lasting till 97'] it's a BTB
