JS1000 Inlay Blocks (for pre '98) - What does it say?

I know the JS100's sport the "Joe Satriani" inlay block. What do the JS1000's feature? Is it the same block inlay or something different?

From 94' to 96' they said JS Custom. (no 1000 in 97')

I believe now the 1000's have no inlay at all. *I haven't seen any on the ibanez webpage, and I hope they don't have the inlay anymore, because I think it's kinda tacky.

Correct. When the JS1000's were re-introduced in '98, they no longer sported the inlay plaque. The JS100 and JS700 still feature this. Not sure about the JS900. I'm sure Rich can confirm.

Only the Korean 100 still has the inlay. The 700 has been long discontinued (at least here)

Japanese JS700 have the "JS Custom" inlay. 99 was the last year for the JS700 here :cheesy:

That may have been the last year "available" but check the serial # to see if the guitar is a 99'.
