JS1000, JS1200 or JS2400 (best one)
I was wondering what guitar is actually better.
I want to know it, comparing these things:
-Tremelo bar
-Sound
-Pickups
and all that kinda stuff.
(cause I intend to buy one of these guitars
)

(Why I decided to go for the
JS2400
) (A, damn, need to collect money for 3 years to buy it D: )---

Re: JS1000, JS1200 or JS2400 (best one)
I can't speak for the 1200 or the 2400.
I have owned a 1998 JS1000 for about a year now.
It is very easy to play, the tremolo (Edge Lo-Pro) is fantastic, and the tone is really cool.
I immediately replaced the Fred with a Tone Zone and installed an alnico 8 magnet in the TZ. The Fred is just too bright for my tastes.
I also immediately installed a huge brass tremolo block. This really helped with the sustain and warmed the tone up considerably.
I had a 540R that had an original Edge tremolo in it for a while.
I think the original Edge is a little more sensitive to slight movements, flutter, etc.
Hope this helps.

Re: JS1000, JS1200 or JS2400 (best one)
For the record, I have an 88 540R ssh; and js700. Those are my satriani's. had several chances in the past for js1000's, but could never pry the cash away to get them. I never got along with the pickup combo either.

Re: JS1000, JS1200 or JS2400 (best one)
JS2400 seems to be a different beast due to the pickups and 24frets. All the new models got Original edge trems. 1000 and 1200 got the same pickups.

Not really, the JS1000 comes with FRED/Paf Pro and the
JS1200
comes with FRED/Paf Joe. Besides that, they are the same guitars. I personally like the JS1200 the most out of all the lineup, just for the color

Re: JS1000, JS1200 or JS2400 (best one)
I finaly decided to still buy the js2400, because 1. it has more frets (most of tha time is play those high notes
), and it looks nice, AND joe's review on youtube convinced me.

Can't go wrong with either guitar. The JS2400 is a good choice though with 24 frets.

Congrats and don't forget to add picture of it. I would have taken the 2400 to. Sometimes when i play my JS i miss those 2 more frets.
