JS1000 - Modelled on what neck?

Hi All, great forum, this is my first post! I did a forum search, but couldn't find the answer. I understand the JS1000 has a digital reproduction of the neck from Joe's favorite guitar, which is a multi-redious neck. Is it modelled after a Fender Stratocaster neck? And if so, what model/vintage is it?

I believe the multi-radius neck was digitally rendered from the worn in neck on "Pearly", Joe's prototype chrome JS guitar that he's been playing since the JS line was first introduced.

Pearly is like Joe's equivalent of Steve Vai's Evo, only Pearly's still got the same neck. Joe treats his guitars a lot better than Steve does

plus the fact that pearly got stolen...

the js neck is designed after a stratocaster neck, to my knowledge. yes.

Yep. It is modeled after a strat neck pretty much. I just got my 1200CA the other day (what a gorgeous guitar). And I was comparing the whole thing to my Amer Delux Strat. Very, very similar to the strat.

Even the neck joint looks like a modern strat neck joint... and the headstock with it's deep crown, non-angled design and the whole neck that just feels like a strat when you play it. The main difference is the smaller 6105 fretwire and the Ibanez string spacing, which tends to be a little wider than most other manufacturers.

To me, it all adds up to a strat feel but better than a strat.
