I've just purchased a js1000btb, great guitar; however i'm having trouble lowering the action. *I feel that there are two main problems right now,
nut height and possibly the frets. *My main concern now is the nut height.
The nut height is approx. 2.3mm (this is measuring from the fingerboard to the string @ fret-1; it is virtually even across the entire neck). *There is no shim, nor does it seem that i can sand the neck down, sanding any more will result in passing through the actual fingerboard and the
truss rod is also in the way. *Are there other nut sizes available? *any ideas?
As for the frets, i think it's fairly straight forward, once the nut is adjusted i'll gradually flaten frets 12+...
Any ideas or thoughts would be ~greatly~ appreciated, thank you...!!
