js1000bp with js2000 neck

when I removed the neck on my 2003 js1000bp, i noticed that the neck was stamped as js2000. is this a common thing? The guitar was bought brand new in 2003. AFAIK the necks have no difference between their specs, but... it just feels weird now that I know...

While the 2000 was in production all 1000's had 2000 stamped necks.

actually, it makes sense now since they are identical.. thanks for the response.

remember one thing when the js 1000 was released all the necks were the same specs, coz they are "an exact render of joe's favorite neck"
