JS1000TB - back from the dead. - ..or 'the Canonization of R

My terribly pitted JS1000TB (not BTB), which my then fiance bought me in '94 as an engagement gift, has been brought back to life!! Thanks to new hardware and Rich, it looks as good as the day I first popped the case open  Due to Rich's setup, it plays better than it ever has. He even got rid of a 13th fret buzz, which others couldn't As soon as Hoshino pulls out their digit and gets my bezel screws to me, the job will be done! I'll post up pics then, if anyone is interested. I must thank Rich for getting the parts for me, as no dealer seemed to want to be bothered. I hereby nominate Rich for sainthood

Iain

Actually it's a TB but it's so sweet to look at it was a pleasure to work on!!

I think I'll go to a 5 dot restaurant tonight to celebrate my Sainthood, and my 5th dot!

I must thank Rich for carrying the parts needed to fix "hurt" guitars. Some may remember but I use to have a JS1000WH that I was trying to trade. Didn't get any bites over the net so I traded it locally. I just got it back last Monday. Ran into the guy I traded the JS to and we both missed our guitars so we swapped back. I thought I didn't like JS's but I guess I must eat a bit of crow on that one. They kinda get under your skin...

But I did check the price locally for a new nut and Rich beat that price hands down. I appreciate that...

(But, I'm NOT trading my Jems for JS's anytime soon)

You go Rich. *I can't wait 'till it's all done. *Iain's TB is the guitar (and that JS6 at Sam Ash in '93) that got me to buy a JS1000BP. *If I ever need parts, I know where to go.

Well, the rebirth is complete

Unfortunately, the only pic I have is from my crappy webcam. Maybe I can talk Rich into taking a better one next time I see him Damn, I love this guitar!

Wow. That's really gorgeous. I wish Ibanez would give us more colour options with the JS1000 other than black and white. Even the transparent red JS100 is a nice option.

I sure do have a weakness for blue guitars!

I like the transparent blue too. I wish Ibanez would do more transparent colors for their 1000 line. Black and white are getting old...

JS1000TB - back from the dead.

Maybe unrelated but damn,

Some guys get all the luck. I talked to this guy who apparently just got to the local ibanez store who happened to have just imported an new JS 1000 BTB which was on sale for $1200 and grabbed it. I mean the prices here are stratospheric, usually 100% above U.S. prices.

Damn
