JS10th Problem

Hi Everyone.
I have a JS10th and my bottm strap button screw is stripped.
I kinda figured i cant bust up some toothpicks and glue'em in
I was thinking of using a two part epoxy and just fill the hole and let it dry
than just screw into that.
Anyone know what would be the best thing to do?
Thanks alot for any help,

The toothpick thing always worked for me. Be careful when you re-enter the screw to not crack the finish.

Have you everdone it to a js10th? A Js10th is made from Luthite not wood so i thought the toothpick thing would not work. But if you have done it to one before and it worked i'll try it.
Thanks.

A little epoxy should do the trick. Fill the hole, let it dry for 24 hours, retap the hole. I prefer that method just to be sure my guitar straps won't fail me.

Epoxy sounds like a stringy mess waiting to happen on an expensive guitar. I'd use the toothpick [it's being glued in, it doesn't matter what the body is made of] or a high quality wood patch.
