JS1200 Specifications

I was visiting IbanezRegister.com and noticed that Jerry listed some differences between the 2004 and 2005 models of the JS1200.

• First of all the fact that the neck pickup in the 2004 is a PAF Pro and in 2005 they replaced it with a PAF Joe.

• 5-Way Selector in 2005 but a 3-Way Selector in 2004.

• The neck in 2005 is a 5 piece maple and in 2004 it was a JS Prestige neck.

Can anyone confirm this? I know the catalogue scans are proof but I just would like to hear it from someone who has actually dealt with the 2005 JS1200.

I own the 2004 model , I'm listed underneath the 2005 entry.

The ONLY difference between an 04' and an 05' is the Team J Craft stamp on the 05'.

I did notice in wiring scheme from 03 to 04 that they changed some things.

No. Those are all incorrect. All of the 1200s have PAF JOEs, 3-way selectors, and a 1 piece neck.
