JS1IR Discovery!
Found this 8 days ago in a local used guitar dealer, The 1st JS after 17 years of playing Jem/UV's. Never realized how Awesome the JS series are, the Inferno Red has opened my eyes. THE TONE?!?!?!

its the curvey sleek look of the guitar, and yes the js series are amazing guitars.
i played a 1000bp and loved it. I also played a jem777 right before and can say hands down i'd get the js1000 before considering the jem.
very nice.

Re: JS1IR Discovery!
That guitar looks seriously hot!
I am yet to play a JS series guitar actually, I really must get round to it. I like the feel of strat necks too, so I am sure I would love the JS.
Thats a lovely guitar!

Re: JS1IR Discovery!
Thanks you guys, it sure is magic, i have not experienced this type of tone before, it's just crazy! The Guitar Is Alive!!! It is a strat type Hot Rod, yet way beyond a strat IMO. I still love them Jem/UV's, yet this JS changes perspective, bending is insaine!
JS holds a high end classy statement, sheer genious! Just can't get over the tone of this thing, im playing it next to a RG1527 with
air norton
and tone zone, a Jem777LG and a Rg1527 with Blaze custom and blaze, and this JS is in a Universe of it's own. Expecially the
neck pickup
, it's unlike anything ive experienced.
Im JS Drunk over heer!

Nice! I know what you mean - the JS might be the perfect guitar.
The neck is just amazing.

Re: JS1IR Discovery!
JS kick ass... specially as a stage guitar they are such great fun to play and at high volumes they really respond well... next step is to try a js6/js6000 .... man thats in a whole other universe again... solid mahogany and
fixed bridge
really do add another dimension to the JS

Re: JS1IR Discovery!
yesss, it's a good drunk, the tone & neckfeel makes me real tippy. I need to try a JS6 & 6000, I have always wanted one of those. I need to play them all, yet then i might get JS drunk and never make it back to Normall-Ness. lol
I think? uhm, yep, I think im being converted from Jems to JS's on the front line in the 6 string dept. Oh dear, DNA's, Chrome Boys, Donnies, PMC's UVMC's, how does anyone make out of this Ibanez stuff alive, it's OFF the HOOK!!! & CRAZY FREAKIN COOL!!!!!!!
Rich says it best, IBANEZ RULES!

Any one know how many JS1's were made in 90 and 91? Idea?
