JS20th
Hi everybody,
I know it's far away, but I was just wondering what all of you were hoping for when it comes to the 20th anniversary JS model, which will probably be released next year.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Ibanez released a golden JS (
http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showth...95#post590695)
. But I'd prefer something else. Although I don't know what.
How about you?

Re: JS20th
Woops! I think I just found out that the JS20th isn't due until 2010.
Sorry about that. My bad.

Re: JS20th
AFAIK?
Well, the first JSs that came out, came out in 1990, right? Or am I wrong? Oh man, now I'm all confused!

Re: JS20th
AFAIK = As Far As I Know.
as far as the first JS, I thought the first ones came out on 1987, and I also heard that in Ibanez time it would be 2008. Perhaps Rich could give us a bit more insight into this.

That would be great. Then I'd know if I should start saving money or not.

Re: JS20th
With Ibanez you'll never know until they do it. Take the JEM for example.
1986 - Steve signs
1987 - First models available
1996 - 10th anniversary based on signing date
2007 - 20th based on model availability date.
1988 - Joe signs
1990 - first models available
1998 - 10th anniversary based on signing date

Fun With Italian Women
For What It's Worth!!!!!!! (which would be a lot
).
After the JEM "fun", you could probably think of what you'd LEAST like to see on a JS.....and that will be the 20th
(can't do the acrylic joke for the JS
)

Thanks a lot!
Darn, I'll just have to wait and see then. I'd love to own a beautiful, special anniversary JS. I'd love that. I think it would be worth some extra cash. It's just great.
I love the JEM20th too, as far as I've seen it. But if I
do
decide to buy a 20th anniversary model, I'll probably only be able to buy either only the JS, or only the JEM, if the JS20th comes out next year. I'll have to see. If the JEM really blows me away, I'll try and find a way to get it. And if the JS tops the JEM, I might be able to sell the JEM. I just have to wait and see.

Re: JS20th
Given the speculations about the price of the upcoming Jem 20th, I'll refrain from buying a car so I can afford a JS20th when it comes out, LOL

For what it's worth! Of course!
How could I have missed that.
And that's right: no acrylic JS for the 20th anniversary model! That's cool. I don't really like the JS2000 so much.
And it's also not going to be color changing model either, since that was the 90th anniversary model. So what else is there? It's difficult to imagine. I really have no idea.

I don't think the JS20th is going to be as expensive as the JEM20th. The JEM20th has that 3D swirl which is apparently done by hand, the LED, the vine... I don't see anything like that happening so fast for the JS.

Re: JS20th
I also posted this in the JEM section, but it's a cool idea for a JS, too, I think. How about a JS 20th anniversary model, which is made of
aquamarine
? Or at least have a body made out of material, which looks the same. Check it out:
