JS6 Prices

Huh, well after talking to some people I thought that what I wanted for my JS6 was maybe a little too much but the one on **** is now at $1025 with a couple days to go!! I have mine on hold for a person for $850!!

Oh well. I am not going to go back on my word with the guy I have it on hold for I was just surprised to see the JS6 go up so high in price!! Just out of curiosity, what seems to be the going rate for JS6's out there? (Or what did you pay for yours?)

I originally payed $1150 for mine. I have seen them in recent years as low as $400. A friend of mine bought one for that price NEW at GC.

I got my current JS6 for $600 w/case shipped, and my prior one for $650 w/bag shipped. Both are/were in about 90% condition with some minor finish wear, etc.

I recall that when Ibanez was blowing them out back in '96 or so, they were in the $400-450 ballpark brand new. They couldn't give them away! Wish I'd picked up the JS6000 that was in the store I was working at...

You know, dont ya just wish you could go back in time and get a few guitars like a few Donnies and Rainforrest models? I remember asking my local music store about the Donnie Hunt guitars and when they told me $1800 I freaked out!! lol I was 17 or so and I had $1800 like I had a million!! lol

I beleive that was the reserve, we are talking **** here, where an RG7CT that couldn't get $1100 2 months ago just sold for $1775. Of course the next one "might" crack $1000.

On this particular JS6 the reserve had been met at $800 and then this guy outbid him at $1025.

Or were you talking about the $400 JS6 guitars?

Rikk, also check the high bidders feedback on that one you mentioned. "0" and "1". A little spooky.

Well maybe if that deal falls through for the guy on ****, I can hit him
up on a deal outside of ****.

I missed out on Rikks because I just put $300 down on a Jemsite members
777BK...bad timing on my part. But I don't back down on any deals, so.....

Heh, yeah, he'd rather trust a true Ibanez lover then someone with
zero feedback on ****.

Even if you are a good buyer, it's easy for people to get scared if you
have negitive, or no feedback on ****. I used to have an account back
in the *early* days of ****, and this one dude in Europe who didn't
speak english very well gave me a negitive feedback because I refused
to pay for shipping from Europe. He kinda forgot to put that in his profile!
It said something like GO USA!

I started up a new **** account just because that one negitive feedback
really bugged me.

Yeah but the only thing is the high bidder has 1 feedback and it was for completing an auction with a music store for a JS700 less than 30 days ago!! Sounds like he at least has one good referrence and he is definitely looking for Ibanez JS guitars. STILL sounds fishy!!! I mean why take a $125 less if you have a buyer that has a confirmed sale for a "quick and easy transaction" with a music store for a JS700 that went for $500.00???

I dont know....... Maye the high bidder is the person selling and he accidently bumped the bid above where his REAL high bidder was at and now he is stuck!!! You never know. I have seen it happen!!!

I missed that...

Maybe we are all talking about a different time frame. Maybe he was open
to the offer of $950 before the bid jumped over $1000.

Hell, I was going to offer him $600 cash till you guys started butting in!
LOL
