JS700 - Rich can you help me?

Rich you wouldn't happen to have a copy of the 1999 Japanese Ibanez catalogue would you? Trying to see if they have the JS700 in there? Found one tonight with a 99 serial on it and I'm guessing it's a Japanese only model for that specific year. Thanks!!!

JS700

Are the specs the same as the American version Rich? There selling it for 47,500 Yen! Also it has "JS Custom" on the 21st fret, and all the pictures of the JS700 I've seen on the net looks like they have Satriani's name on there. Am I wrong? Anyway Thanks alot Rich I really appreciate it!!!!

Steve we plugged it into a Marshall, and IMHO it sounded GREAT!!! I love the fact there's no double locking trem but it's still a JS. The one thing I want to know if it is Mohagany how come if feels so light like my JS100???? *

JS700

AFAIK yes. The JS Custom inlay is on the Japanese made versions, the Joe Satriani inlay is on the Korean.

I've never had a 700 inhand so I'm quoting the catalog here

Body - Mahogony
Neck - 1 piece Mahogony
Fingerboard - Rosewood

I hate to keep being a pain here but I checked out your link to the JS Site Rich and found JS700 photos. I was just wondering if anyone else has any photos they can post here of the 700??

Thx!!

JS700

I had a japan js700, and it was all mahogany.
It had the "made in japan", and the "Js Custom" at 21th fret.

I liked the guitar alot, sounded great - but the neck was too big, it's bigger than the js1000.

Thanks Mike!! I think it sounds great too and the neck felt perfect for me! I've never played a JS1000 before. In fact I don't think I've *ever seen one in person, and thats sad!! LOL
