JS90 prices

It seem the world recession has had an opposite effect on Js prices with Js10 owners asking up to $10k, and now a Js90th for $4.5k on the bay!

Re: JS90 prices

I think it is a lot of wishful thinking. It could be that a lot of people that are in financial trouble are now having to sell the guitars they never thought they would, so they want to get crazy money for them.

I think Kev got it right. Unfortunately, people are having to sell their prized possessions and it hurts like hell.

I think you see the same thing when the economy is boom as well as bust.

Re: JS90 prices

Prices on these sorts of guitars are usually the same regardless, they're supported by whatever the market will pay for them. There's a finite supply of these models so owners can ask whatever they want for them, but the market will only ever go so high.

The other thing is "advertised" price isn't always what they sell for behind the scenes.

Re: JS90 prices

Exactly. When Chromeboys normally go for 6k and someone lists one for a month at 12k, then all of a sudden two or three other guys put theirs on for 8 or 9k thinking theirs is now a great deal. At the end of the day, people just aren't going to pay it regardless of how much people try to inflate it.
