just got a js700


i just got 1 and i love it, its so nice i paid £450 for it brand new and its a japan made model, can any1 give me some background to this model and how many were made in japan and how many in korea and stuff like that.

i think the pickups are quite nice but just outa intrest has any1 changed them?? and if so what did u do and how does it sound, oh and any recomendations are apreciated.

Congrats! You really lke the JS line, huh

I've often wondered about the 700. How is the neck? Doesn't it have a finish on it? Does this model have the coil tap and high pass filter?

the neck is finished and it doesnt have the coil tap and filter its funny the neck is a bit fatter than the js1000

I've never even asked production figures on the 700, they used to give them out long ago, they're a little harder to get these days.
