Re: My JS White Project...

So eveything is bolted together now except for the pickups. I strung it up to get it all adjusted and under tension, set the action etc.

I have to wait until christmas for the pickups ( Mo-Joe and Paf-Joe ) as ive hit my cash limit. So far the whole lot has cost me only $952 Australian Dollars which is about $855USD... The remaining costs will take it to $1288 AUD ... $1157 USD. The parts remaining are the pickups, Dimarzio Cliplok strap and new trem bar.... I will make an itemised list of all costs later...

Does this make anyone else feel utterly useless? I'm so impressed that some people can do this.

Re: My JS White Project...

So i pulled the trem back out to chop the trem block down some more. It was 37mm and this guitar needs a 32mm so the springs dont touch the back cover. I also needed to drill the spring holes deeper 1.5mm DIA. I wouldnt have minded the bell brass block option, but i like the cast Ibanez logo block too much...

Back Jap slotted cover now screws straight on, but i had to drill for the new locations of the offset centre holes...

I have an extra set of PAF Pro and FRED in black. I wouldn't mind hooking you up I just don't know if that's the color and type you want.
