my js1200 off ****! what you think?

Ahoy! Just won this off **** ... http://cgi.3bay.co.uk/ws/3bayISAPI.d...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

(just swap the 3 for an e) for £799! Because it has the smallest chip ever in it, I think it's a bit of a bargain, what you guys think?

I've never owned a trem guitar before so you'll probably see me moaning about it, but I really just wanted a JS I belive the tones are awesome!

I'll let you guys no what it's like when i get me hands on it!

Hey, well done!

I would have definatly bought it. Chips are chips, who cares? It adds more character!

Just remeber people buy Fender relic'd strats in candy apple. They pay an extra £800+ odd for some guy to go over it with some pebles and a brillo pad. Why do that when you've got it going here!

Congrats

that chip is right in the epicentre of the js1200 "tone zone". even a slight lack of uniformity in that region can totally unsettle the sonic stability of the guitar.

I've got a massive chip comming out of my RG7420's bridge (i'll have to photo it one day) when i was whammying a bit too hard and i need to glue it, clamp it down etc etc and it hasn't really changed the guitar for me. I'm not expert on it though so i'll take your word for it

Yes, I've heard that random quantum fluctuations caused by eddy currents these chips set up in the magnetic filed of the universe may actually lead to the destruction of everything as we know it........

Cheers on the JS1200 - enjoy her - chips, dings 'n dents are what guitars get instead of smile lines as they age gracefully!

That's a great buy He's supposed to be a very reputable dealer too.

I think my next 'expensive' guitar will be a JS, you can get them quite cheap now off 3bay.

Nice deal for sure...

It might sound strange but I'd somehow prefer if my JS90th had a lot of chips... then I wouldn't worry about playing it and using it at rehearsals and gigs etc... but since it's mint I always take the other guitars with me and leave the JS at home alone.
