My New JS1090th (Mongrel) Pics Added

So it's a JS1000BP body, and JS90th neck, both in Great conditon (thanks Scott) I'll have some pics up later, so you can have a butchers.

Specs, DiMarzio X2N Bridge and Paf-Pro Neck (Thanks again Scott) has a chrome nut and retaining bar (More Thanks Scott) rest of the hardware is cosmo, With Original Edge too

Have finished wiring as much as i can until i get a 3 way, But am struggling to get used to the neck profile, It's nice, But i'm just not sure if it's for me yet ... Sounds great, Plays great, Low action with little to no buzz.

Pics later, So be forwarned

Rob

p.s. Did i Thank Scott for all the kindness and Freebies

Re: My New JS1090th (Mongrel)

Hey Rob, nice score.
So you can't get onboard with the neck profile yet?, not a strat fan then?

I love the neck on JS and the comfi body but the guitar just looks wrong to me, still congrats on the axe, Paul Cornford owns a JS90th with JS1000 neck...*scratching his head*........interesting.

Damn I should have given you the three way switch too! *lol* Sorry wasn't thinking. PM me and if ya want I'll post it!?!

You need to put all chrome on there then get your 90th flip flop finish!

Re: My New JS1090th (Mongrel)

Thanks Rob Actually i just CAN'T get on with it, Don't get me wrong it's a fantastic guitar, and sounds awesome, And once the 3 way is installed and have made up a elec cavity plate it'll be VGC, and very nice, but i just want a flatter profile ... Preferably with a 7th string too, I'll put her up for trade at some point, Althou i think it's only fair to let Scott have first crack at it

Rob

p.s. I am gutted really, Always wanted to own a JS and am kinda let down

p.p.s. Anyone fancy a straight trade just fire off mails with what you have ... Not planning on selling it anytime soon tho

Re: My New JS1090th (Mongrel)

I have to agree with ya Rob, ... the JS doesn't feel right to me either. Your "mongrel" sure looks bad as hell. The guitar looks so sleek and sexy, but i can't play the JS necks for anything. If it had more of a prestige neck, I'd buy another one.
