My new little friend!
I finally got my very first JS series. Check the link for pics at the bottom. The custom graphics were done by Beyond Custom in Florida. The graphics are hand drawn and look absolutely fan-fukin-tastic. It also has a nice thick clear coat. I do have a few questions for you guys though.
1. Will an Edge Pro fit in this
JS 100
body?
2. If it will, should I get an edge pro, or an edge, or what?
3. How do you like those graphics, I think they are killer!
I am also planning a new neck for her as well as new pickups. Fred and Paf of course in zebra colored blue and white. The neck is most likely going to be custom built and its going to have blue and white pyramids fading to pink. If you guys have a better idea though, please share. Thanks
PICS!!!

Re: My new little friend!
As for the trem: EdgePro, forget it. Original Floyd should drop right in. The radius will even match up out of the box.

Re: My new little friend!
sweet! I always think that donnies and
donnie
clones etc look amazing just as they are, anything more would distract from the finish. However, if you want to get the guitar looking wild and funky, that is definitely ok by me too! Your JS100 already looks like it's worth a mint with just the finish alone! Nice one.

Re: My new little friend!
I honestly think that you should've figured out the trem issue before getting that paint job done. Blue and white pyramids fading to pink???????? That guitar isn't a Jem.

Re: My new little friend!
Thanks for the advice so far. Maybe a regular Floyd is the way to go. Also, I didn't have these graphics done. I saw it on the evil auction site just the way it is, and bought it. Now it some mods. Its not a jem, but I can't figure out anything better for the inlays. If you have an idea, let me know.

I'd leave the dots as well, but I prefer boring fretboards.

Re: My new little friend!
Sorry to do it to ya chopper, but its a cut throat world my friend. I had planned on changing the trem, neck and pickups anyway. I will get some of my cash back when I sell them, so it works out ok. I will prolly have $1200 or $1500 in it when its done. Not to bad for a nice JS with custom graphics, DiMarzios, and a custom neck. Actually, I am playing it now and it plays fairly well as it is, which is a bit shocking.

Re: My new little friend!
The artwork was done by Beyond Custom Guitars. You can check their website here--->
http://www.bcguitars.com/
the work is fantastic. Also I do have a JS strap, but its red, so I gotta get a blue one.
