Neck/Bridge Volume differences on JS

Have you guys noticed any volume differences between the neck - pafpro and bridge - fred pickup on your JSes?

I've read that for equally powered pickup, the neck position would sound somewhat louder because the string amplitudes are greater there. Then given the fact that the pafpro and the fred are quite close in terms of output, then would this cause the paf pro to sound kind of louder that the fred.

I have the same pickup config on my RG and I notice there the neck pickup is slightly louder.

If this is true, how do you guys compensate?

the Fred is a little higher output than the Paf Pro which is perfect

if your neck pickup seems too loud try lowering it with the adjustment screws or try raising your bridge pickup.

i noticed itm but it was because my paf pro was higher than the fred..so i lowered it and its now below in its cavity whereas the fred just sits on the top

Alright, I guess I'll have to adjust the heights to compensate
