Never thought I would post here,But!

I played a js100 a while ago and it promptly got auctioned off.Seeing a friends js1000 in bp,it got me to thinking,I wonder what a real js feels and sounds like? Just then, behold a js1000 in btb magically appears courtesy of a fellow jemsiter(thanks chris, who thanks rik,who thanks rich, who thanks hoshino, who thanks joe). What a beautiful finish! I plugged in to the triaxis, pulled the coil tap and proceeded to play some bluesy, whammy inflected,slide-like,its okay to marry your cousin type of down home licks. What a perfect guitar for soloing, really nice tone.Since most of my other guitars are more metal oriented, its nice to have something to fill the void.I like it just the way it is.I believe it is no#8 of riches first batch. To think I passed up a chromeboy a few years back for 899.00 because I was only a jem kinda guy.Live and learn! Ah,something new to acquire!

And because of his new aquisition, I can get my '71 Volvo out of the shop and get to work and back when the snow flies(although my stomach STILL hurts! ). Good thing the JS2000 and 6000 are still here to soothe my tummy. And yes, that sucker will shred like a mofo given half a chance. Z

Hey zoner, glad you are up and running! You guys are right. While its true with the coil tap engaged I get a"jerry springer soundtrack type vibe"happening. With a minor tweak on the triaxis and the fred on 10,I have no trouble reaching"closet metal god, hide your women and children, somebody call the fire dept."type of tone.A very versatile guitar.Still may get another one and put a higher output pickup in for the sake of experimentation.I think I got js disease,I was in traffic and kept seeing chromeboys on the guys bumper in front of me
