New Chrome JS on its way

Quote:
Later this month I will be at the NAMM show to debut a stunning new Ibanez Chrome JS guitar
Just in from Satch's site.
My guess is it has a chrome top like the mirror jem...It might even contain some wood this time

Cool

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

Man thats great news! Plus Joe seems to be on the mend too.

Maybe it's the same finish as on those ltd AX1220CBK guitars released on 03'. They were chrome over wood. JS1200CH!? Sweeeet!

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

I just read that, very good news! Chrome over wood I hope. If Joe says it's stunning, then that is enough for me! I just hope the price tag won't be anywhere near the CP's though.

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

It was originally billed as an Anniversary model, expect high pricing, see the non Anniversary Mirror JEM. Although it hasn't been confirmed the model will actually release, if it does, it will not be chromed wood

LOL. You guys thought they'd let the JS 15th anniversary pass without a VERY expensive new model ....glen

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

The problem is they forgot how to count.

JS10th - 1998 - 10th anniversary of him signing with Ibanez. [1988]

JS15th - 2005 - 15th anniversary of when the first JS's were for sale. [1990]

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

they could have had two JS15th models.. one last year for 15th anniversary of their relationship, then one this year for 15 years of production JS guitars... glen

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

If this happens, Vai should be jealous. All he got for a 15th Anniversary was a rerelease of a FP. But Joe gets a new chrome JS? How fair is that! J/K!

Great, now I have to buy another chrome JS. I hope it's not the same chrome we've seen before. Maybe something like the DiMarzio ad...

Haven't heard anything thru the grapevine, so probably Fred and PAF Joe, if it's released!

Re: New Chrome JS on its way

This seems like an odd choice to me. I was expecting either a new color to the JS1000 lineup (not chrome), or the debut of a JS7. Oh well, maybe next year.
