I'm not the flame type, but that was pretty cool.
I'm assuming Joe's amp is the marshall in the back, not the Crate? (EDIT- ahh, no wonder- Sammy Hagar.)

I saw that guitar yesterday here in Mexico.
He tuned it in Drop-D and used it to play about 5 songs, in the back it has a sticker from ice man or whatever it's called the dude in the surfing with the alien cover. That guitar looked amazing!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to see Joe 30 minutes ago live here in Chile and I was amazed with this new flamed-finished guitar. He played 3 songs with it: Time Machine, Oriental Melody and Friends (this one at the end of the show).
Of course, itīs the guitar posted above in this topic, but thereīs something you canīt notice there: the finish of the body is the silvered one you see on the chromeboy (or JS10th) guitar. So, itīs not just a normal JS1000 guitar with flames on it! And the finish on the back of the guitar seemed like the 90th (green-to-purple) finish, although it could have been an optic effect on that one.
I hope this helped a bit and it would be great if someone can post some more pictures of this guitar.
Chao.

Satch played here today in Sao Paulo. That JS is simply beautiful.
Looks much better 3 feet from your eyes

Oooooh I guess that means it's his new Drop D guitar !!! Looks like "The Snake" is being given a rest from that duty on tour.

I'd speculate he's taking guitars that mean less to him on tour
