Hi its Variegated Leaf, which isn't real gold - I think they use copper or brass then heat it to get the pattern. Sealed, then a quick swirl in black & clear

Well, this is a huge debate among all guitarists: most believe that direct mounting to the wood adds some mojo and makes the guitar sound more acoustically alive when plugged in. Everyone else believes it's all hoopla that only has a real aesthetical effect.

Personally, I think it does add mojo to your sound.

Well the rain manage to stop for an hour a couple of times this week, so got some spraying done & some parts came in today - standard cosmo bits
