New JS Series owner here...

I bought a used JS100 with an original floyd rose, fred and PAF Pro pickups. I really like this guitar now, even if it only has 22 frets. IM thinking of swapping out the pickups and putting in some EVOs. Awesome guitar though.

lol... nice one.
evo's are a bit harsh compared to the fret/paf pro's in JS's i must admit im personally more partial to the tone of a 59 Gibson PAF myself

Could you post some pics man? I'm interested in seeing how a JS100 looks with an OFR.

If it's red or black I'm sure you got a hot guitar!

Thanks for those pictures...it's neat to see the trem is interchangable with the Floyd, but do you know how much trouble (if any) it was? Of course, you said you got the guitar used

I own the same guitar, but with the stock pickups & EP2...I have worked & worked on the trem angle (knife edge is not visible) & applied the Chapstick...it's working pretty darn well for me now, plus I've gotten the action in good shape (at least for me)...the action is not as good as what I experience on an SG I have, which is like touching melted butter with Ernie Ball Slinkies, but pleasantly low

Send me your DiMarzio's if you don't want them! :P

P.S. Thanks IbanezRules!!!

It looks good and plays good with a Floyd. I just noticed it isnt set up correctly, it seems to be slanted. I thought about changing the pickups to EVOs but I reconsidered. I might trade it for an Ibanez destroyer, if I do, its still an Ibanez
