NGD: My JS6!!!

So I've wanted one of these guitars passively for about 14 years. Actually held one and passed on it in 1997 because I didn't know how hard they were to find. Plus, I was 2000 miles from home on a job interview, and still in school so didn't have the money for it.

Just learned a few years ago just how rare they are and been looking around for one ever since. Got sniped on a few auctions. Really had no business spending the money on it, but things have gone my way recently in terms of selling a real nice guitar that I rarely played (12 string acoustic) so that cleared most of the funds for this purchase. The little rash above the neck pickup looks a lot worse in the picture than it really is. Almost no "texture" to it, so it should smooth out/clean up with a bit of TLC and tung oil nicely. A few other dings here and there, but overall it's been taken care of very well.

The guitar plays like a champ. Unbelievable.

Big thanks to Frantick for helping me locate this beauty!!!

Re: NGD: My JS6!!!

Congrats, hope you enjoy it.

You should contact Rich to see if he has a black screw for the bridge high-E. It might be a common screw you could find elsewhere.

Other than that, it looks all original to me.

Don't forget the vol/tone knobs are push/pull. I didn't even know it for YEARS after buying mine. Neck pickup with all knobs pulled up, clean sound on amp, very nice sound. And of course all knobs down with neck pickup and gain, nice solo sound.
