Ok so Im selling my JS1000BP...help me with a good price
Im done with my JS. Love the guitar, hate signature models, and I want a freakin Carvin!!
I dont wanna take the time to post pics, so heres my myspace:
myspace.com/xandersmeeth
Basiclly, its perfect, less than a year old, except for some oxidation on the
bridge saddles
, a scuff or two on the back, some belt
buckle rash
, and a....err.....scar next to the bridge. I want to get as much as possible, cuz Carvins dont come cheap.
Thanks

If this is an advert post a price, or, is it just a "what price should I ask?" thread - my advice there would be check your local **** for the going rate.

Why say it's perfect when it clearly isn't? It seems like the guitar has a lot of issues with scratches, oxidation and belt buckle rash?? It really gets on my nerves when people say "it's perfect but..."
Jimmy
P.S.: If you're going to sell the guitar post pictures, state a price and put an ad in the classifieds. Personally, I'd give you 500 just to get it off your hands.

About the problems, they arent big. And Im not exactly sure HOW to post pics, so I just gave the myspace link which has pics on it.

Oh and yes, this is a "how much should I sell this for" post.

If you want to post pics, go to the picture itself (on your myspace acct.) and copy the url, then come back in here, post a message or edit the original and do this:

Jimmy
P.S.: I wasn't trying to lowball you man but, I bought a JS1000 for 800 bucks with 2 small finish dimples on it (no paint missing), so when you mention buckle rash, scratches and oxidation, that (IMO) lessens the value of the instrument.

Well.
Good thing I decided against selling today! Its a great guitar.....and a great guitar is a great guitar, regardless of being a sig model or not.

That's good news Smitty! Personally, I don't think the carvin can come close to the JS. Now post some pictures of it just for kicks
