Old JS 100BK

Hello peeps, This is my first time posting here after lurking around for many months.

I have an old JS 100BK that I go back in 1994, its in great shape. I got it when I was a teen and now being older and having a better job I moved up and got a 1999 JS 1000WH. There is a night and day feel between the two.

Feeling bad for my first JS I was wanting to re-vive it. I looked around came across Ed Romon site. I could tell this guys a big fat lyer. He said the the JS had bondo. Well being that I wanted to re-vive my JS 100BK, I stripped it down to the wood. Guess what? No bondo!

Well anyways, I am planning on (trying to) make it more like the JS 1000.
Adding a PAF PRO and FRED HH and a Edge. Also thinking about getting it swerled.

Question, has anyone tried this with a JS 100? I can tell theres a bit a diffrence with the bodies between the JS 100 and the JS 1000, also the neck.

So dose this sound stupied? A waste of time? And what do you think about swerling a JS? Has it been done?

Thxs,

I think the JS1000 neck is multi-radiused while that on the JS100 isn't, thus the difference. It'll be interesting to see a swirled JS. I think it'd be cool to have a swirled JS, and it'd be even better if it's the first, although i'm sure someone out there has already done it.

Thxs for the reply.

Yeah, the neck I am planing on changing to a radiuse, that is if it will fit on it. I hate to find out after I spend the money

It would be nice to be the first but I dont mind if someone has done it already, but I would love to see some pics
