Please help identify JS guitar

Hello,

a fried of mine gave me a JS guitar. I can't tell if it is a JS1000 or a JS100.
It was purchased around '95. It is blue and has "JS custom" written on the 21st fret.
Both volume and tone know can be "moved up".

Can you help?

Depending on what type of "blue" it is, it could be a JS1000TB or a JS100. Does it have a LoTRS tremolo or an Edge? (screw in trem bar or pop in trem bar?)

Yes it is a JS1000TB, it seems it was made for a few years around 95 in that color with the JS custom.

Actually, I'd like to buy it

It is in good shape. What is a fair price for it?

I'm confused. You'd like to buy it? Or sell it? Did your friend give or lend it to you? Anyway, a fair price? That's a good question. There was just a beat up one in Norway or something mentioned in an earlier post. I think it was in the $800 range. New JS1000's go for $1050 through most stores. Used go for anywhere from $600-$900.
