Please point me in the direction of a good, trustworthy Ibanez dealer?

Don't like dealing with Guitar Center, thanks.

The concensus around here seems to be Rich from Ibanezrules.com. the banner is at the top of the page. I've never done business with him personally, but alot of people say hes great to do business with.

sorry, I didn't say the right thing. I meant in the locking stud mod. Does he do the mod for you or just send you the parts?

From what I have seen around here. Rich does a full setup and all of that stuff for you. If not automatically he will on request. And his endorsements as a tech are second to none.

My advice is to go with him. He'll set it up for you and you'll love it.

Do you just want a cheap price? There are plenty of discounting dealers out there.

Or do you want a great guitar? There is a big difference.

Well when you put it that way...

I want a great guitar at a great price. I just don't wanna get ripped off. So I tend to shop around for the best price.

Looking for a JS1200....do you have any in stock?

I'm not sure if you can get guitars "cheaper" anywhere other than Rich, but for a moment assume he's more expensive. Say you spend a little more with Rich. It's worth it. When you say 'great price', are you refering to 'value'? Or 'low price'? You get what you pay for, or you don't get what you don't pay for. The money you might have to spend extra to get a guitar set up from Rich will soon be forgotten. Buying a guitar 'cheaper' and getting what you paid for will not be soon forgotten.

Well, that my opinion. I always check Rich's site first for something I'm in the market for.

Ibanez Rules is an outstanding vendor! you will get better service and warranty than what you'll get at any Ibanez dealership! I buy a lot of used guitars but if I was in the market for a brand new Ibanez I would always go to Rich.

Re: Please point me in the direction of a good, trustworthy Ibanez dealer?

I've done business with Rich in the past with Parts only and he was top notch.

His reputation around here was enough for me to drop a money order in the mail for a new JS120CA this week. Can't wait.

I didn't want a GC wall hanger that every pimple faced punk with a pick in his hand has put his grimy little fingers on, and I wanted the set-up to be world class.

This is where Rich comes in.

IF you've ever had a guitar that played like a brick, and then had a professional set-up done on it, you know the difference between what you get from GC, and what a dealer like Rich can deliver.

And by the way, MF, was $25 cheaper than Rich's cash price. Unless you want their one year warranty, in which case Rich sells at a cheaper price.

try getting a set-up and locking stud installed for $25

Ok, I'm done pimping Rich.

Bottom line, there's price and then there's value.

I looked around and sent my hard earned cash where I found the best value.

I'll drop some pics when the goods arive.
