I try not to slam Rich with too many questions, so I'll ask here- will Rich take money up front for a reservation?

I think (could be wrong) that he only takes a deposit on stuff he knows he's getting like limited editions. I don't think he takes deposits on basic production stuff but JC's might be the exception. He'll probably chime in with answers for you before long.

Re: Pre ordering a JS20th

I'll take anybody's money. I like money. The only problem with preordering before NAMM is you [and I] don't know what the price is going to be. That will be determined by List price and the number of units they'll make [and import]. If they make a lot then somewhere around MAP will be the target, if they're making it very limited like the PRM's then List could be the price.

How do they work out the quota that each country gets? Is it based on population or what?

The UK seems to get a few but you guys in the US seem to get the lions share.

Somebody from the company would have to try and explain that one, but you can be guaranteed that HUSA will get the lions share of anything Limited if they want them.

Re: Pre ordering a JS20th

I don't need to be in the company to explain it: the most expensive guitars go where there is more money.
