Question about changing the strings on my 1000

the ball itself is not the problem... it's the braided end with a double-thickness and lack of flexibility. if you look at a nicely wrapped post you can begin to see that the braided ball end cannot offer the same... as there needs to be a kink to allow the ball to hold and thick braid to begin wrapping around the post. My dig camera won't get good closeups or i'd take some photos explaining. until then restring HOWEVER YOU WANT ...glen

I get just as tight a wrap with the braid as I do without.

The first time little GC comes crying to you bleeding from his finger like a stuffed pig because big GC's GC Custom just bit him, we'll see how you start stringing then :biggrin:
