Question

Satch 7 string signature model.

This has to be joe's next signature model. If theyll bring out the JS2000 with that stupid fixed bridge they gotta bring a 7 out, what do you guys say?

I say that what one might expect and what the public want don't always tally in with what Ibanez do

I think the next development we'll see in the JS line is the phasing out of the JS1000.

Re: Satch 7 string signature model.

I doubt we'll see a Satch 7 to be honest, he hardly uses it really, there's not much 7 string on the new album either? So it'll be hard for him to promote it for live use unless he starts bringing back stuff from Strange Beautiful Music.

I don't think they need to change the JS at all really, new colours would be nice, some more modern graphics. Although I still thing the BTB is the best looking JS ever

I think a useful development would be a drop tuner on the Edge pro? Satch does quite a bit of Drop D stuff now I think and that also might appeal to the current market. Who knows!

That's okay. Steve never promoted his UV777bk when it came out, and It's one of the best selling 7's ever. I'm sure that the JS7 would sell just as good.
