guys, check THIS out! the story behind this prototype is what Ibanez Italian dealer has been told from Ibanez. so i think it's pretty much correct, but probably the neck and the bridge have been replaced recently, cause the neck is spanking new, and the trem is a Lo-Pro, while as we all know, Joe always played standard Edge exclusively. enjoy!

Awsome, was just looking through your site for the 2000 time, it's awsome, love looking at the pics!

Out of your experince/anybody elses, I hear that Lo-pro can swap with Edge w/ no trouble, but I hear that Lo-pro won't get as much pull/dive in a edge-routed guitar. I think you can with no troubles, just double checking.

Nice, but the guard should have gone under the knobs too... thatd have been weird with the curved body and all, but itd have looked better

Nice find, Nuno, that is cool, however, the pickguard's shape looks funny, still cool. I like the vintage cream pickups too. Nice.

I believe that's the guitar he used on the 1994 Deep Purple tour. Supported by the second gen JS neck and neck plate number that points to late 93'/94'.
