Scored a JS100 Super Cheap!!!

I just scored a trans red JS100 for $150. The condition is great with very minor finish wear on top.

I plan on doing typical upgrades you'd expect such as pickups, tremolo, and the pots too. The chrome hardware is also in awesome shape, so no new pickup rings or knobs will be needed.

I have a FRED that I don't really care for as a bridge pickup I'm going to try out in the neck spot, heard it's a little higher output PAF Pro sound. I'm thinking Evo or Evo II in the bridge.

I'll get pics up after the upgrades. Just excited about the deal I got.

Awesome man, how'd you manage that deal.
I once saved a 1976 Les Paul Custom from the garbage for $200, needed a refret and the neck was starting to twist so I put another $300 into it.

Local Craigslist want ads. It had been posted a couple of hours before I saw it, but no one had jumped on it. I was just sitting around, bored on a Sunday afternoon.

Just snagged an Evolution for the bridge and a Chrome Gotoh bridge.

Once they arrive, it's wiring time.

Both bridge and Evo pickup arrived in the mail today. Busy tonight, so tomorrow it's getting done. I'm going to go ahead and put all new pots and a 3 way switch in as well. Don't know how good or bad the stock electronics are in the JS100.
