Should I?

I've got serious GAS...

I own a Jem7Vwh, a RG505 with Fdez sustainer, a LesPaul Std+, a Strat American HM, a Steinberger and some other stuff.

Would a JS1000 add something to my arsenal in your opinion?

How a blue JS1000 looks in person?

Re: Should I?

Go with a JS1000, not a JS100. The JS1000BTB (burned transparent blue) is absolutely stunning. Good luck!

Re: Should I?

yeah a JS100 would be a step down from the rest of your guitars, the JS1000 is very good looking for a simple design.

Re: Should I?

nope it would not. And the best part is, that you really don't care if it adds something or not. You just need to justify in your mind that it would, thus justify the purchase. After all you've got GAS

So go and get one .... enjoy. BTW the burnt ones are buttugly... seriously.

Re: Should I?

Personally I'm not a fan of the BTB finish on the JS1000, but I love you the candy apple red on the JS1200. Same guitar apart from the neck pick up

He wanted to kmnow if it adds something... he already HAS a Jem7Vwh, a RG505 with Fdez sustainer, a LesPaul Std+, a Strat American HM, a Steinberger.

Re: Should I?

Yes it would add something. Especially as you seem to like a bit of variation. I also own a 7vwh, and the JS1000 has a completely different feel, while still being as great to play. Obviously colour choice is personal, but before you listen to to people here, check out a BTB in person, one in mint condition. Pictures do not do it justice. They are SOOOOOO beautiful. Got mine brand new out of the box, ordered through a shop. So when i opened the box in the shop the gathered crowd ALL gasped in amazement (and they had one on the shelf!!)The feeling of pride that "she's mine" was worth every penny Every time i look at her she melts my heart

If you had a preference for JEM style guitars (in terms of the way they feel) i would say no, but as your collection is varied then in my honest opinion of owning both JEM/JS then give one a go

LOL Funny

Don't want to high jack his thread and he should get whatever he GASSES for without making up reasons

I am always thinking which would add to my couple guitars, and i think a Half Accoustic like 335 or maybe a Rickenbacker or a Parker Fly would ADD something. I already have sooo many HH equipped guitars.
