Whoa, I take it is the "not chrome, but silver you can actually play" model?

And an Artcore based Metheny! interesting

To almost quote myself: you cannot post that scan without posting other pages (come on, at least from the models we already know of!)

Yes! It's great to have a new model, but I'm not sure about the unmatched headstock.

Re: The '08 JS1600PSV

That's the lamest attempt at a new JS I've seen in years. If this is what Joe and Ibanez have been supposedly "working on for the last year" (per joe's own words), It's a total disappointment imo.

There is still a 20th to debut, but that list is going to be close to $6k, fyi

I was a little disappointed too. Just a rehash of a JS6/600...

Re: The '08 JS1600PSV

I'm a fixed bridge guy, and as of yet a JS hasn't been in my collection before. I think this changes things. Depending on what the actual price shops and stockists can get them for, I will be very tempted by one of these. I really, really like it. I dig it.

Re: The '08 JS1600PSV

this is awesome imo. i have a couple of js6s, and have treated them as the rare guitars that they are. but to have an opportunity to grab another one is exciting. the finish doesn't do much for me, but it's worth it to have another chance at grabbing another hardtail js.

I like the non-trem aspect, but that headstock is frickin hideous.

Re: The '08 JS1600PSV

That headstock is a$$. It's ridiculous, for a signature guitar, when's the last time Joe played a fixed bridge on stage. At least it's not the 20th...
