The chinese thieves now offer "autographed" JS guitars
Hi,
On the bay now they're selling "autographed" JS guitars. I wonder when they come up with a look-a-like to promote their "products".
I'm disgusted!
Regards,
D.

I think it's pretty clear that in saying "the chinese thieves" he is directly implicating the ones we all know and many here choose to hate that sell the fake Jems on evilbay.
1) They are from China - so they are likely Chinese.
2) They are criminally selling unauthorized
Ibanez guitars
- that makes them thieves.
3) By saying "The" he means - you know the ones.
He didn't say "The chinese are thieves". Take a chill pill man.

Check Evilbay and look for yourself and you´ll see the thieve's auctions. Often Ibanez JEMs, JS1200s etc, listed at a idiotic prices with very very expensive shipping costs - That´s the thieves he is talking about
So unless you are one of those guys, he´s not talking about you.............chillllllllll

Re: The chinese thieves now offer "autographed" JS guitars
do the rip offs ever sell?
i mean, are there loads of 'proud ibanez owners' who think they have picked up a real bargin of the bay, and infact are sitting with a pile 'o' junk. if so i feel sorry for them.
idd be interested to have a look at one, play it to see how it compares to the real deal...

Re: The chinese thieves now offer "autographed" JS guitars
i imagine the only people who buy them are drunk srudents wanting a laugh and poor begginers getting ripped off. but i suppose if they learnt to play on a ridiculously high action, imagine how good they would be when they baught a real jem!!!

Indeed. You'd be surprised at the occasional bad generalizations against Chinese people I've run into now and then here from some how-should-we-say "less informed" members.

Some people know only what they hear and have *very* few sources of information, if you know what I mean.
If this site is where you get your information on the Chinese people and their culture, you are missing just a little bit.

Re: The chinese thieves now offer "autographed" JS guitars
I think people need to grow thicker skin and not let what others say bother them so much. The world revolves around the sun, not any one individual. People need to get over themselves, or go and cry to their mommys. This after all is "Jemsite", not "diversity sensitivity site" . Lets talk about guitars for Christ sake !!! Sheesh !
