Looks like an LACS JS6 of some sort, maybe a proto? Can you take a closeup shot of the nut and the neck plate?

Re: Trying to identify this guitar

Looks like something that was thrown together. A shot of the back would reveal a little more, but I'd say it could have been one built in the JS6 proto sampling except, it looks like it has a locking nut on it. Or is that some sort of roller nut?

Is the output jack angled like a JS?

Re: Trying to identify this guitar

I'm clueless what I'm seeing. I'd be guessing that's a metal plate that's just butting against the graphite nut?

Re: Trying to identify this guitar

Not something I'm familiar with, but it supports the theory that it was thrown together. The neck is for a trem guitar but they had to make it a regular nut for the Gotoh bridge. I don't doubt it's one of the JS6 proto samples they were cranking out trying to come up with the right combination for Joe, which ended up simply the HH setup with Gotoh tailpiece.
