TRYING TO PASS GAS

i was in guitar center over the weekend picking up strings and did my usual walk through and decided to try out a js since i have never even held one. it was a regualr off the wall untuned/factory set up 1000 in grey. i fell in love with how it felt and played and cant even inagine what that thing would be like coming from rich. my finger is on the trigger and im trying not to pull it, but if history repeats itself as it usually does, i probably dont have much choice. so rich, your probably going to be hearing from me soon for a 1200ca.
i didnt plug it in and kicked myself when i got home for not doing so. reading some reviews, im getting the idea that the fred pickup is on the bright side. is this anything similar to lets say a les paul customs bright and in your face punchy?

Re: TRYING TO PASS GAS

As someone who just got a 1200 from Rich (well a couple weeks ago, but the NGD glow hasnt worn off yet), i would 100% reccomend getting one. I would also advise of switching the fred out of a mo joe, its incredible.

pictars are here...

thats a nice guitar you got there. switching the pick up is a good possiblity, i never thought of that. i bought a jem from rich early this year and wouldnt even consider buying an ibanez somewhere else.

Yep, i feel the same way.

The FRED is a cool pickup, but i think the Mo Joe is better in every way. If i can ever remember, i'll make up a quick vid with the two guitars as a comparison. I'm always reminded when i browsing forums at work, but by the time i get home i always forget.

Was that this year? I thought it was last. How time drags in a sluggish economy

Yup, February, although it did take some time to prep. Those were the good old days when I was really busy!

So Rich, what are you selling most of these days? Guessing the big dollar stuff isn't moving to well.

Re: TRYING TO PASS GAS

Seamless, I ordered heavy to fill in all my holes to comply with policy, just in time for a ginormous slowdown

Of course they told me I wouldn't be getting any VWH's so I scrambled and sourced 4, and promptly got the 5 I had on order the next weelk. I still have all 9 of them 2 months later [normally I'd sell 2/month]. They're just starting to see availability a little better right now. I keep telling them next time they decide to authorize me to please do it when they're not in the midst of a software conversion crisis

On the bright side, I have a lot of great inventory in stock and my backlog is running right around a week, and shrinking

I've been keeping a spread sheet to back me up later, but the failure rate of incoming has been right around 28%.

Re: TRYING TO PASS GAS

Overseas only. I'll have to wait for a better economy before I think of trying to import a large batch like I used to.

None taken, I've got more cosmetic flaws than it does
