Used prices?? JS1000

Anyone notice the price drop on used JS1000's? Now is the time to buy, must be after Christams bill payment time.
I snatched a 2004 JS1000BP for 775. Only had a little scratch on it, other than that it was perfect in every way. So if you have been looking for a JS and thought you had to settle for a JS100 you might be surprised to find yourself with the real thing for the same money.

Re: Used prices?? JS1000

I have seen a JS6 and a JS6000 in the oil finish recently. They both sold for around 1100 which I thought was very low. Just 6 moths ago I saw a JS6 that didn't sell because the reserve wasn't met at 1600. It got close.
So there are some deals out there.

If I could find a white JS1000 I would jump on it.

Re: Used prices?? JS1000

I got mine on **** for $650. Seller was a couple hours away and I emailed him inquiring that if I were the winner, if he'd meet me 1/2 way for cash payment/delivery of guitar. I was surprised he said yes....Even more surprised I was the only bidder at $650, only flaw is a chip that was refilled/clear coated and it's a damn pro job. Doesn't match the BP, but it's so small and under a perfectly smooth/matched clear coat. I figured at that price, I couldn't lose....If I didn't like the guitar I could turn around a flip it and probably make $100 on the resale.

Re: Used prices?? JS1000

I got mine new from GC with ibanez case for 1100 so 750-850 is about right for used (with dings). The BP JS 1000 doesn't photograph well. In person it is one of the best looking guitars you will ever see. It may keep the price down because some people have never seen one up close in person. Better looking than the js1200, IMO.

Re: Used prices?? JS1000

Also I notice many people bidding on 100s cause they think they're cheaper. Then the 100s sell for 650€ and a 1000 doesn't sell because of it's starting price at 800€.

Ridiculous.
