Volume Knob .... thing

Hey.. I just got a JS 1000 and I wondered what the volume knob tap does....because the tone knob seem to tap evey pickup selection, but the volume one doesnt do appear to do anything. I hope you can help me because Im really confused

Should be a high pass filter. A little more noticable at higher volumes.
Was it new when you bought it?

No it was used, I thought thats what it was...but I dont really have it loud enough for me to notice. Thanax for confirming that it is that lol

amps gotta be loud and the volume knob on the guitar rolled back... purpose is to maintain clarity with the volume knob rolled back.
