I'm not sure that there is a normal price. I've seen these things go for some pretty ridiculous prices, but I'd venture to say that you're going to pay above 2 grand if it's in decent condition.

There is no set price for a original JS2; there are very, very few in existance. The JS10's will depend on the condition and what is has with it yet, ie case, strap, cord, cert., ect. The new JS2PRM is limited to 60 worldwide and has a retail price of $5300. All of those have already been sold to dealers.

A 10th will cost at least 2 grand as Jem7vwh said...if you want an original JS2 though, you'll not only need a lot of luck, but you'll probably need ten times as much money than a 10th will cost ya...you're probably better off asking Rich, because he knows everything about the JS series lol.

10th's depend on a lot of things. $2000+ is the norm, but I picked mine up for $1400 MINT!!! a couple of years ago. Patience get you good deals on a lot of stuff. Click the Ibanez Rules banner above and go to the used page, then the used sold link and you'll find some market values there; $2200-3800.
Josh
PS - There were only 12 original JS2's (8 prototypes and 4 production). I have never see one for sale. You'd need much more than just luck and a lot of $...

I almost felt guilty to buy it since it was such a good deal! I should add that it was a friend of mine, and he needed the money!!

The chromeboys are usually cheaper, and much cooler imo! I bought a JS10 last December and that axe rocks! Bought it for €2200.

@acoustic1991: you damn lucky bastard!
